We do not have an appointed Data Protection Officer.

What cookies are

Cookies are short, small text files that are stored in the browser on your device (mobile, computer, etc.). When you later return to our website, your browser sends the stored cookie back to us and our website remembers you. You will not need to set your language, currency and so on again. It also allows us to tailor the website to you and show you content that interests you or that you have saved on the site. Thanks to cookies we get feedback on our website and we know what interests you, what you come back for and what needs improving. There is no need to worry. Most websites use cookies these days, and you can delete them from your browser at any time.

Depending on who the cookies come from, we divide them into:

  • First party cookies – their validity is limited to the domain of the website you are viewing.
  • Third party cookies – they are placed on the website via a script from another domain and can track you across multiple domains (not just ours).

By expiration, or lifetime, we divide cookies into:

  • Short-term (session) – they are deleted from your browser as soon as you close it.
  • Long-term (persistent) – they are not deleted when you close your browser and remain stored. They are only deleted after a certain period of time. The length depends on the specific cookie and on your browser settings. Of course, you can also delete such a cookie earlier, manually in your browser.

By purpose, we sort cookies into the following categories:

  • Technical (necessary or functional) – these are cookies without which things simply do not work. Our website needs them to function properly or, for example, so we know whether you have (or have not) given us consent to the processing of cookies. Without them it would not be possible, for example, to search, fill in a form or play a video.
  • Analytical and Marketing – they help us understand what works on our website and what does not. They let us find out which content and features are popular, on which types of devices you use the website or, for example, which advertising campaign hit the spot with you. In other words, thanks to them we can improve not only our website but also offer you relevant content or advertising.
